Release Notes

A full overview of everything we ship: new features, fixes, speed improvements and security updates.

Current version: 1.13.17, released on 4 October 2026

1.13.17

Latest4 October 2026
  • fixedBooking and gift cards: after too many attempts, the plugin now tells browsers and apps, following the web standard, how many seconds to wait before trying again.
  • fixedGroup appointments: promoting a participant from the waitlist now happens in one step, even with two simultaneous clicks. A full group gives a clear message.
  • fixedGroup participants in the admin area: the window stays open after an action, and a double click on promote or remove sends one request.
  • fixedAdmin area: the time off button and the links to catalog, customers, and license open the existing screens again instead of a message about permission.
  • fixedAdmin area on a narrow screen: the buttons under the appointment window, the email block, and the support button stay within view.
  • fixedA service's default image also loads when the plugin is in a different folder.

1.13.16

2 October 2026
  • fixedImproved the security of importing industry templates.
  • fixedImproved the security of access to the staff portal.
  • fixedImproved the security of the public routes for booking, gift cards, and staff password recovery. With normal use, nothing changes.
  • newStaff portal: the foundation for team leaders (roles and teams) is in place. Existing staff members get the staff member role and keep the same access. The admin screens for team leaders follow in a later version.
  • fixedTime off in the admin area: a request that has already been decided can no longer be edited or deleted. The status can only be chosen when creating a request; after that it goes through approve or reject. An administrator who is also a staff member cannot create their own time off as approved.
  • compliancePrivacy: fonts now come from the customer's own site. The admin area, the booking widget, and the portals no longer connect to an external service for fonts.
  • fixedWhite label: whether "Powered by NoveuFlow" appears in the booking widget now follows the same setting in all three layouts; an existing choice is kept.
  • fixedIndustry templates: the template for motorcycle workshops has a new name and description; anyone using the old key gets the same template.

1.13.15

29 September 2026
  • fixedSubscriptions: the limit on the number of staff members was not enforced and now is. Existing staff members always stay in place and keep working. At the limit, no staff member can be added or set active again, with a message that names the plan and the limit and points to a higher subscription.
  • fixedInspection security: the DVI screen and the staff portal no longer send the customer's approval code to the browser, and a staff member only sees the findings of their own appointments; the customer's approval link keeps working.

1.13.14

28 September 2026
  • fixedThe admin screens for customers, appointments, and the waitlist no longer send password data, recovery codes, admin links, or waitlist codes to the browser; only the fields each screen needs.
  • fixedNotifications and diagnostic screens in the admin area no longer show the password key itself, only a fingerprint; the site administrator obtains the wp-config.php line through a deliberate download, or through WP-CLI.
  • fixedThe password key does not need to be replaced: until now, only site administrators could see it. Only replace it if it ended up outside that circle, for example in a screenshot or a support ticket; doing so invalidates all existing passwords for customers and staff, who will need to set a new one.
  • fixedAvailability in the admin area: as long as no opening hours have been saved, the admin area checks the start and end of an appointment for a staff member without a schedule on that day against the same fixed week as the booking widget, and also shows that staff member has free times.
  • fixedJSON exports of customers or appointments made before version 1.13.13 still contain password data and admin links for appointments; delete those files.

1.13.13

26 September 2026
  • fixedOpening hours that have been filled in now stay saved, and the booking widget follows them from the first time they are saved; if a staff member has a schedule, the widget only offers times that fall within both that schedule and the opening hours. Until now, the widget offered fixed days with the schedules' times, or otherwise 09:00 to 17:00. After the update, the admin area shows a notice to review and save the opening hours.
  • fixedThe admin export of customers and appointments as JSON no longer includes password data, recovery codes, or admin links for appointments.
  • fixedIf a database update of the plugin fails, the message in the admin area now shows a clear sentence with an error code instead of internal text; the detail stays in the site log.
  • fixedOn a database error, more messages in the admin area now show an error code instead of the database's own text.
  • fixedSafer database calls across the rest of the plugin, in preparation for the WordPress.org plugin directory; nothing changes for users.

1.13.12

25 September 2026
  • fixedThe customer portal now only sends along data intended for the customer; fields that were not intended for the customer are no longer sent, not even in the export.
  • fixedA customer can now only change the fields of the profile form in their profile, and their notification preferences are now saved as well.

1.13.11

24 September 2026
  • fixedThe license plate and model a customer enters during an online booking are saved on the appointment and on the customer's vehicle again.
  • fixedThe customer portal shows its own title in the sidebar instead of Efficio Account.
  • fixedSafer database calls across a large part of the plugin, in preparation for the WordPress.org plugin directory; nothing changes for users.

1.13.10

23 September 2026
  • complianceFrom this version on, NoveuFlow requires WordPress 6.2 or newer; on an older WordPress, the plugin reports that cleanly in the admin area instead of breaking.
  • fixedIn the staff portal, Today and Calendar now show a day view on time, with the appointment you are working on marked "In progress now", a week strip to pick a day in the calendar, cancelled appointments tucked behind "Show cancelled", and an honest message if the list fails to load.
  • fixedIn the staff portal, the appointment screen is a workbench with one button per status ("Start" or "Finish"), a confirmation before you mark a customer as a no-show, a call button, a note that stays on screen with its time, and the findings on their own screen.
  • newThe shortcodes are now also available under the names noveuflow_booking and noveuflow_customer_portal (and the other noveuflow_ names); the existing efficio_ names keep working.
  • fixedIn the staff portal on a wide screen (1200 pixels and up), the day sits on the left and the selected appointment on the right, with the tab bar on top; nothing changes on the phone.
  • fixedThe services export (CSV and JSON) in the admin area returned an empty list; it now includes all services again.
  • fixedIf a reschedule in the customer portal fails, or writing the audit entry when creating an appointment in the admin area fails, the message now shows a plain sentence instead of an internal database error; the detail stays in the site's log.
  • fixedCustomers can open their appointment in the customer portal again; an overly strict comparison of the customer number was blocking that.
  • fixedRescheduling and cancelling an appointment in the customer portal now works from start to finish; two typos underneath that comparison used to stop it.

1.13.9

14 September 2026
  • fixedThe detail view of a repeating series opens in the admin area again; if fetching it still fails, the message now says so honestly.
  • fixedAn appointment that has already been decided (cancelled, declined, completed, or a no-show) can no longer be accidentally overwritten in the admin area; the screen reports a status conflict.
  • fixedThe Reception role now sees the NoveuFlow menu with the calendar and the customers; every role now only sees what its permissions cover, in the menu and in the admin area.
  • fixedIn the staff portal, the tab bar shows three tabs side by side again, a failure now reports itself honestly with a Try again button, an empty day names the day, the confirmation after changing your password sits next to the form, and the portal carries your workshop's name and colour with the system font, without external fonts.

1.13.8

12 September 2026
  • fixedThe "Send reminder" button in the calendar sends a reminder again and reports per appointment what happened: sent, already reminded, no address, or turned off.
  • fixedChange the date or time of an appointment in the admin area, and the customer now gets a Dutch email with the old and the new time, just like with a reschedule through the customer portal.
  • fixedThe Email Log now shows the real outcome of a pending email and the reason next to the message itself, one line per email.

1.13.7

12 September 2026
  • newSystem health now also checks email: the mail connection, pending and failed messages, whether the queue is being cleared, and whether the sender address belongs to the site, with advice in plain language.
  • newSettings, Notifications now has a "Send test email" button; if an email fails, the reason now appears in the Email Log next to the message itself.
  • fixedAfter a successful online payment you now get one Dutch confirmation email instead of two English ones, with the amount actually charged, the work done, the date, and the time.
  • fixedEvery switch on the Notifications tab now does what it says; turn an email type off, and that email actually stays off.
  • fixedThe email queue now runs on a single clock, so a failed email no longer causes a false alarm or a skipped wait time.

1.13.6

11 September 2026
  • fixedTeam now shows why a staff member cannot log in (no password, inactive, or locked), and "Set password" says so when someone still cannot log in because of it.
  • fixedThe reminder email is in Dutch, with a Dutch date and time, and follows the template you edit under Email Templates; if sending fails for a moment, it is retried.
  • fixedAppointments are only visible and editable in the admin area for the site administrator and the Workshop Manager and Reception roles; a regular WordPress editor no longer has access, while Reception now does.
  • fixedAn appointment that has already been decided can no longer be set to a different status in the staff portal.
  • fixedRequests you decline, cancel, or delete no longer count toward your plan's monthly appointment limit.
  • fixedThe first email after a booking follows the request itself, not the state of the setting at the moment it is sent; a request with no payment started now always gets the "request received" message.

1.13.5

10 September 2026
  • newRequests on hold can be accepted or declined in the admin area, with an email to the customer on receipt, confirmation, and rejection; the buttons are in the appointments list and on the appointment itself.
  • newThree email templates (request received, appointment confirmed, request declined) are on the Email Templates page and can be adjusted per workshop; under Notifications you can add your own instructions for the customer.
  • fixedThe "Approve new bookings first" setting (Booking tab) is now actually read; if it is off, new bookings are confirmed immediately. It is on by default; check the setting after the update.
  • fixedThe workshop manager and the other NoveuFlow roles get the missing read permissions on update and can work in the admin area again.
  • fixedEmails to the customer greet them by name and show the workshop's address and phone number; the default texts make no assumptions about drop-off or pick-up.
  • fixedA declined request no longer counts in statistics and performance and cannot be rescheduled or cancelled in the customer portal.
  • fixedA payment that arrives after a rejection is recognized and logged with a warning.

1.13.4

9 September 2026
  • fixedStaff can log in again: creating a staff member with too weak a password no longer leaves a half account behind, the password rules are shown on screen, and changing your own password in the staff portal works again.
  • fixedIf the password key (EFFICIO_AUTH_PEPPER) is missing from wp-config.php, the plugin now creates one itself on a new site; on a site that has lost the key while passwords already exist, the system health page reports that the original key needs to be restored.
  • fixedA workshop manager no longer sees payment keys and other secrets in plain text in the admin area, in API responses, or in the log.
  • fixedLogging in no longer reveals through the response time whether an address is known.
  • fixedThe setup wizard now actually creates the staff member you filled in, with a schedule taken from the opening hours.
  • fixedThe portals no longer treat a response without JSON as a success.

1.13.3

4 September 2026
  • fixedAfter the update to 1.13.2, the plugin reported on websites with a MariaDB database, on every admin page, that the database upgrade had failed, even though the conversion of the time columns had in fact succeeded: the check was looking at the wrong default value for a column. That is now fixed: after this update the message disappears on your first visit to the admin area and the database version is correct again, and your data and appointments were safe the whole time. The notices about a database upgrade in the admin area are now in Dutch and say clearly what is going on. If you still see that message after 1.13.2, update to this version.

1.13.2

4 September 2026
  • fixedLogin links, customer and staff sessions, and password resets now also expire around the 25 October daylight-saving change exactly when promised. Twelve time columns in the database have been converted to a form that does not shift with the timezone, and existing sessions simply stay valid. On older database servers a session could previously expire immediately on any change to the session row, because the database silently set the expiry to now. That is now fixed too: update before 25 October, so this conversion happens before the clock changes.
  • fixedA successful login link now creates only one session instead of two. Anyone who requests too many login links sees the same Dutch-language message with the wait time on both request paths. The wait time you see when requesting too much, including on the booking form, is now correct even when two limits apply at the same time.
  • fixedCalendar invitations now use your workshop's timezone, even on a website whose WordPress timezone is set as a fixed offset instead of a named timezone. Previously such an invitation could land on the wrong clock whenever the timezone setting was not chosen by name. That calculation error is now fixed.
  • fixedStaff members who forgot their password now get a recovery screen that clearly shows the password requirements, instead of a link that led nowhere. The recovery link in the email works, and the screen shows straight away which password qualifies, so there is no more guessing.
  • fixedThe setup wizard and the language button on the settings page now set the timezone, site language and company name in WordPress without errors. Previously the wizard could get stuck with an error message if the site language still needed to be fetched; it now continues regardless, always applying the timezone and company name first, with a clear message if only the language pack fails. The wizard's timezone report no longer contradicts itself: the warning and the report now always come from the same moment.

1.13.1

3 September 2026
  • fixedNoveuFlow now checks whether your WordPress site's timezone, language and site name match your workshop, and warns you if they do not: in the setup wizard, on the dashboard and in the settings. In the wizard you can have the correct timezone, language and company name set directly in WordPress after a confirmation. If NoveuFlow has been running for you for a while, you will find a button in the settings, and there is also a command line command, that safely converts the timezone. Beforehand you get a report of what will change: appointments, schedules, leave and recurring series stay on their clock time, and reminders and the daily tasks are set again for the intended hour, because reminders count on the wall clock. Only an administrator with full admin rights can convert the timezone and the site language. The timezone of an existing installation can therefore now be changed safely.
  • fixedAlongside the existing limit of three login links per hour per email address, there is now also a limit of ten login links per hour per IP address, across both request paths together. If you go over that limit, you see a Dutch-language message stating the wait time. No link is created any more for email addresses that do not belong to an active customer account, and the website's response stays the same for every address: so it still cannot be told from the outside who is a customer.

1.13.0

3 September 2026
  • fixedLogging in through the link in the email did not actually work: the screen said the email was on its way, but nothing was sent, and when an email did arrive it was empty and the link opened a page that did not exist. The email is now genuinely sent, with a proper message and a button, and the link opens the customer portal and logs you in straight away, including on older sites that still use the my-account page. If sending ever fails, that is now recorded in the plugin's log. If you have hooked your own mailer onto efficio_send_magic_link, NoveuFlow now also sends its own email; if you want only your mailer to send it, have your integration call the new third argument, markeerBezorgd(), otherwise the customer receives two emails.
  • fixedAfter picking a vehicle in the booking form, the whole service catalog stayed visible, including services that did not belong to that vehicle. The form now shows only the services that match the chosen vehicle; services with no brand or model link stay visible for every vehicle, and a category left empty by this filter disappears with it. On installations without a license this filter did not work at all, and customers saw categories offered as if they were bookable services themselves; that is now fixed too. If you use the /public/service-tree route yourself, it now returns the same nested tree of categories, options and photo variants for every installation, even without a license; if you build anything on it, check whether you were still relying on the earlier flat list.
  • fixedThree places where a plan limit showed the wrong message have been corrected. The admin area sometimes showed No leads found under CRM Leads when the real reason was your plan; there is now a clear card with the upgrade path instead, in your site's language and without pointing to our own pricing page. And the limit on repeated login attempts in the customer portal now reports an honest wait time instead of pretending the password was wrong; a genuinely locked account still shows the normal error message.
  • fixedThe license key you received during the first, free registration was not stored anywhere. It is now saved securely and can be found and copied again in the setup wizard, even if you had already closed that page. If your site has no usable WordPress security keys configured, the key cannot be stored securely and you will only find it in the confirmation email.
  • fixedThe admin routes for brands, models, services and subscription plans now ignore fields that do not belong there, instead of saving them without checking; an invalid billing interval on a subscription plan is now actively rejected instead of being silently set to monthly. If you send your own data to these routes, for example through your own integration, an unknown field is now ignored instead of stored, and an invalid interval now gets you a clear error message.
  • fixedLogin links, magic links and sessions were expiring by the wrong clock, so a customer portal login link could already have expired during Dutch summer time before you used it. Every expiry time in the plugin, including fleet links, customer and employee sessions, password resets and the loyalty point counter, now runs on the same clock, and the loyalty point statistics and leaderboard show the right numbers again. Right around the switch between winter and summer time itself, a session, magic link or password reset requested at that exact moment can still expire too early; the definitive fix for that follows in a later release.
  • fixedA monthly recurring appointment on the 31st skipped February and other shorter months. The appointment now moves neatly to the last day of the month instead of jumping a month ahead.
  • fixedNotifications in the admin area sat half hidden behind the WordPress admin bar. They now appear fully in view, below the bar.
  • fixedA service category can no longer be nested under itself or under one of its own subcategories. In the admin area that choice is no longer clickable, and the server rejects a loop that still comes in with a clear message (error code circular_parent, 409).
  • fixedThe Email Templates admin page kept sending dozens of requests per second to your own site for as long as that page stayed open. With a tab left open all day, that could slow your site down or even make it unreachable. The page now loads a template once and then stops.
  • fixedNoveuPoints and Subscription in the customer portal returned a server error, and the Subscription screen wrongly said you had no subscription. Both screens work again, and if something does go wrong you now see an honest message with a button to try again.
  • fixedIf your site runs a PHP version that is too old for NoveuFlow, the plugin now disables itself instead of taking down the whole site. You can still log in as normal and see in the admin area which PHP version is required. Activating it from the command line now also stops with a clear message instead of silently succeeding.
  • fixedBrands from the Scooterspecialist data pack could no longer be edited after import and showed a broken logo; saving only returned the English message Validation failed, without saying which field was wrong. Brands can be edited again, and error messages now appear in your site's language next to the field they concern. The check on logo and photo addresses has also been tightened: a path within your own site is now accepted, where it used to be rejected, and a full web address must now start with http:// or https://. If a brand, model or service has an address somewhere with an unusual start, it will only be rejected the next time it is edited, with a clear message.
  • fixedClearing a brand's logo field did nothing, even though the screen said the brand had been updated. A cleared logo or photo now really disappears.

1.12.9

2 September 2026
  • newBrand, model and service cards in the booking widget can now show a photo. You set a display mode per card type: name only, name with a photo, or photo only, in Settings, Industry settings, Booking widget. You now pick the photo through a media picker instead of a plain URL field, and a card with no photo chosen simply shows the name: there is never a blank gap or a broken image.
  • fixedAn expired or too-low plan used to log a customer, employee or fleet manager out of the portal, with no explanation. It now shows a clear card instead, saying the feature needs a higher plan and pointing to the workshop for an upgrade.
  • fixedThe employee portal did not always show an appointment's customer name, service, brand and model. That information is there now, along with the price. If you use your own integration against the /employee/appointments route, note the changed fields: the payload is narrower and typed, with the price now a number and the name fields added, and the internal manage_token field is gone from the data.
  • fixedA deep link into a portal page, such as one specific appointment, led to an error page. Those links work now, and the page also survives a refresh.
  • fixedA subscription's direct debit now counts its next term from the due date, instead of from whichever day the cron job happened to run. When that ran a day late, the direct debit date used to slip later each time: a subscription that started on the first of the month would, over time, get charged halfway through the month. A subscription due on the 31st of the month also no longer skips February. This was a calculation bug in the billing path: nothing changes for existing terms, only new terms are now calculated this way.

1.12.8

1 September 2026
  • newThe booking widget now fits a laptop or desktop screen without your visitor needing to scroll. The step column has become a bar along the top, choices sit side by side in compact cards, and the calendar step shows the calendar and the times side by side on a wide screen. What your visitor fills in stays the same, only the layout is new.
  • newA step that only asks for a single choice, such as vehicle type, brand, model or service, now continues automatically once your visitor makes it. Every completed step stays visible and clickable, so your visitor can always go back and change an earlier choice.
  • newYou can now switch on a brand step before the model list, so your visitor picks a brand first and then a model from that brand. It is on by default once there are two or more brands, and you set the label above it (for example "Brand" or "Make") yourself, in Settings, Industry settings, Booking widget.
  • newThe booking widget used to always follow the language of your site. You can now set a separate widget language (Dutch, English, German, French or Spanish) in Settings, Industry settings, Booking widget, so a visitor sees the widget in that language even when the rest of the site is in another one.
  • fixedA date filter on the calendar or the appointment list left out the last day of the range. A range ending today counted only up to midnight, so that day itself went missing from the results. This is fixed.
  • fixedThe calendar and the booking step now use exactly the same rule to decide whether a time is free. Previously the two could disagree, so a visitor could pick a time online that was then refused when confirming. A completed appointment no longer keeps holding its time slot, and when more than one team member can do a job, the calendar now correctly offers a time as long as any one of them is free.
  • fixedA booking that never gets paid no longer holds on to its time slot forever. If the payment fails, expires, or the customer simply never comes back, the time slot is automatically released for someone else to book. If the payment does come in afterwards while the slot is still free, the original booking is restored automatically.
  • fixedThe login link for the fleet portal works again. The email used to point to an address that did not exist, so clicking the link led to an error page. The link now points to the fleet portal page the plugin creates itself, and the portal logs you in the moment you open it. An invitation link for a new fleet team member no longer leads to an error page either, though accepting an invitation that way is not yet possible: that screen is coming in a later version.
  • securityLogin links for the fleet portal are no longer stored in a readable form in the database. Anyone who got hold of a copy or a backup of the database could have used a valid link to log in to any fleet account. Only an unreadable version of the link is now stored, the same way the customer portal already worked, and the same link can no longer be used twice at the same time.
  • fixedThe fleet portal now checks that you have the right plan before letting you in, right from the login step. A site without the Business plan used to still get a login link and a session, only to get stuck on the very first screen. It is now clear immediately that an upgrade is needed.
  • fixedRegistering in the customer portal works. The password was not being saved when the account was created, so signing in afterwards always failed.
  • fixedOnline payments, refunds and the payment methods list in the admin area were reading a table that was never filled in, so a payment could fail to start even when Mollie or Stripe were set up correctly. Payments are now read from the table the settings screen actually saves them in.
  • fixedConfirmation and reminder emails showed the WordPress admin email address as the reply-to address. On a hosted site that is often the hosting provider's address rather than yours. Customer emails now show your own business email address.
  • fixedThe approval link a customer receives after a vehicle inspection led to a page that did not exist. It now opens a real approval page, with a clear explanation if the link has expired.
  • fixedA test message sent by SMS or WhatsApp, or a test payment, used to be recorded as if it had genuinely succeeded, including a cost and a delivered status. Test activity is now clearly marked as a test in the statistics and the logs, and never counts as a real delivery or a real charge.
  • fixedSome pages in the admin area stayed hidden even though your plan already included them, because a separate, outdated list decided what you got to see. The admin area now follows the same rule as the rest of the plugin, so you see exactly the features your plan unlocks, no more and no less.

1.12.7

29 August 2026
  • newThe booking form has a new design. One question per step, built for the phone, with a light bar showing where your visitor is instead of the dark side menu. The colour you pick in the settings now runs through the whole form. The steps themselves and what the customer fills in are unchanged.
  • fixedBooking on a phone works again. On a narrow screen the "Choose a time" step stayed empty and the Next button stayed disabled, so a visitor on a phone could not finish their appointment. The strip of days now opens a day straight away with the free times alongside it, and a slow answer from the server no longer wipes the time just chosen.
  • fixedThe booking form now appears in the language of your site. The widget showed Dutch everywhere, including on an English, German, French or Spanish site. Amounts, dates and the days above the calendar now follow that same language and its formatting.
  • fixedChosen options count towards the length of a job. A 90 minute job with options adding up to 45 minutes was offered in 90 minute gaps, which put appointments too close together. The free times now take the chosen options into account, and that length is stored with the appointment as well.
  • fixedThe heading from the first step was still showing above the "Booking confirmed" screen. It is gone.
  • fixedRegistered free installations can now update themselves. Previously this got stuck on a message about the network, while the real problem was that the installation was not registered. Such an installation now updates through the same verified channel as a paid one, and anyone not yet registered gets a message that says what to do.

1.12.6

26 August 2026
  • fixedThe booking form stays up when part of the plugin fails to arrive. Until now your visitor got an error message instead of the form as soon as the small file holding the animations did not load, for example during a server hiccup or behind a strict security layer. Booking was then impossible. The animations are now a side matter: if they do not arrive, the booking simply continues.
  • fixedBusiness fleet bookings genuinely work for the first time. Scheduling several vehicles at once from the fleet portal failed on every installation. A fleet booking is now all or nothing: if one line does not fit, nothing is booked and you are told exactly which lines clash. Fleet lines also pass the same checks as an ordinary booking, from opening hours and public holidays to notice period and turnaround time between jobs.
  • fixedThe monthly statement for a fleet now runs on real month boundaries in your own site timezone and no longer skips a month. Previously an email went out about an invoice that did not exist.
  • fixedOnly a fleet manager books on behalf of a colleague, and their permissions are read at the moment of the action itself. A driver could previously book in a colleague’s name, and withdrawn permissions kept working for up to an hour.
  • fixedA fleet booking now announces itself like any other appointment. Confirmation email, reminder by SMS or WhatsApp and webhooks work for the fleet as well.
  • fixedCancelling an appointment happens in one go or not at all. Two simultaneous clicks on the same cancellation link used to send two cancellation emails, two webhooks and duplicate invitations to the waiting list. That can no longer happen.
  • fixedA waiting-list email that cannot be delivered no longer disappears quietly. If delivery fails everywhere, the entry returns to waiting instead of wrongly showing as notified in the overview.
  • fixedPurchased add-ons work on every plan. A Starter customer with the SMS add-on was still turned away at the SMS page. Paid for and not delivered, and that is fixed. A withdrawn add-on is now genuinely set to inactive as well.
  • securityThe checks on the responses from our licence and update servers have been strengthened, and the package that is downloaded is verified more strictly. The system status now also shows when that check has not yet run for the update channel, instead of showing green.

1.12.5

23 August 2026
  • fixedIn rare cases two customers could book the same time slot. The calendar now guards that at database level, even when no mechanic has been assigned to the appointment yet. A slot that is taken is now genuinely taken.
  • fixedDuring an update, existing double bookings are detected. If two different customers sit in the same time slot, the update stops with a notice that this needs to be looked at by hand. We deliberately do not pick which appointment stays, because that could make a real customer’s appointment disappear.
  • securityThe setting that decides whether removing the plugin also erases your data can now only be set by an administrator who is also allowed to delete plugins.
  • fixedBookings that fail halfway are now rolled back completely instead of being half saved. No more partial appointments are left behind in the calendar.
  • fixedPrices in the plugin come from a single source and match the amount that is actually charged.
  • newThe trial period works as intended: fourteen days of full Pro, after which the installation automatically continues on the free plan.

1.12.4

22 August 2026
  • fixedAutomatic updates now work from start to finish: you get the notice in your WordPress admin and the new version actually installs. In 1.12.3 we reported this as fixed too early. On sites with an active licence the update still stalled. Both causes are gone and the full update has been run through on a real site.
  • newRemoving the plugin no longer wipes your data. Appointments, customers, services, invoices, contracts and settings stay in place when you uninstall NoveuFlow.
