Today is the day. The March 2026 NoveuFlow update is live and it is by far our most ambitious release to date. When we started two years ago, the goal was simple: build a scheduling system that genuinely fits the way service businesses work. Not a generic SaaS tool you try to adapt to your industry, but a platform that already knows your industry.
This release was shaped by conversations with and feedback from service businesses: repair shops, hairdressers, physiotherapists, bicycle workshops, and installation companies. Here is everything that is new.
NoveuBike: bicycle servicing that speaks its own language
Bicycle repair has nothing in common with car repair. Yet many bike shops were tracking their appointments in systems built for the automotive industry. NoveuBike changes that.
22 specialised bicycle services, from puncture repairs and brake adjustment to full overhauls of folding bikes and high-end mountain bikes. Each service has its own duration, parts list, and technical instructions.
Frame number registration. Every bike that comes in is registered by frame number. The customer history is tied to the frame, not just the customer. That means you instantly know what work has previously been done on that specific frame, regardless of who the current owner is.
E-bike support. E-bikes are a category of their own. They need specific battery diagnostics, software updates, and a different approach from mechanics than a regular bicycle. NoveuBike includes built-in e-bike workflows, including the ability to log battery capacity and schedule recurring charging service appointments.
For bike shops that have been tracking appointments in a notebook or a generic calendar app: NoveuBike finally brings a system that understands your trade.
NoveuInstall: for installation companies and field service engineers
Central heating boilers, air conditioning systems, electrical installations, solar panels. Installation companies have long struggled with systems not built for their workflows. You don't work in a workshop, you work at customers' homes. You need serial numbers, warranty history, and a clear distinction between installation visits and maintenance visits.
NoveuInstall is built precisely for that workflow.
23 installation and service jobs, categorised by discipline: central heating and climate, cooling and HVAC, electrical, plumbing and sanitary, and renewable energy. Each category has its own service paths, parts connections, and technical documentation fields.
Serial number tracking. Every installation is registered with the device's serial number. When an engineer returns for maintenance or a breakdown call, they immediately see the full installation history. Which parts were ever replaced? Have there been previous faults? When does the warranty expire?
Project-based scheduling. Large installations span multiple visits. NoveuInstall supports project planning where you can link multiple appointments to a single project, with a shared file, one customer record, and one billing line.
Linking parts to services
This is a feature we have wanted to build for a long time, and in this release it is finally complete.
Across all NoveuFlow modules, you can now link parts and materials directly to services. That means: when a customer books a brake service, the brake pads are automatically reserved in stock. When the job is completed and you close the appointment, the parts are automatically deducted from inventory.
No more manual tracking. No more discovering mid-job that a part is out of stock. And at the end of the month, your inventory count automatically aligns with your invoices.
The link also covers material costs. If you offer a service where you use consumables, you can attach the standard material cost to the service. They are automatically included in the final invoice.
Threshold alerts. Set a minimum quantity for each part. As soon as stock drops below that threshold, you receive an email or push notification. You order on time, your customers never face delays, and you never lose revenue because of missing materials.
AI Workshop Planning: OpenAI optimises your day
This is the most innovative feature in this release, and honestly, the one we are most proud of.
Every morning, NoveuFlow analyses your day: which mechanics or engineers are available, which appointments are scheduled, how long each job realistically takes, which parts are available, and what the optimal sequence is.
Based on that analysis, the AI generates a daily optimisation proposal. It suggests sequences that minimise part changeovers, distribute technicians optimally across available jobs, and make the most profitable use of your capacity.
A concrete example. Say you have three mechanics and six appointments. Two jobs require the same specialist. The AI detects this and schedules those in the morning for that specialist, freeing up the afternoon for other work. At the same time, it notices that one job will likely run longer than planned (based on historical data from similar jobs) and suggests a buffer.
You always stay in control. The AI proposes, you decide. With one click you adjust the schedule, or you accept the proposal and start the day.
AI Workshop Planning is available as an add-on module for NoveuGarage, NoveuBike, and NoveuInstall. The feature requires an OpenAI API key, which you connect easily in the settings.
White-label branding: your identity, completely
Many of our customers use NoveuFlow as the backbone of their customer interaction. The booking widget, confirmation emails, the customer portal: customers see this every day. Until now, there was always a subtle "Powered by NoveuFlow" in the corner.
Not any more. With the white-label branding module, you remove all NoveuFlow references and replace them entirely with your own identity.
Your logo, your colours. Upload your logo, set your primary and accent colour, and choose your fonts. The booking widget, customer portal, email templates, and payment pages all adapt to your house style.
Custom email branding. Confirmation emails, reminders, invoices: everything goes out with your name, your domain, and your design. Customers receive professional communication that fits your business identity completely.
Custom domains. The customer portal can run on your own subdomain, such as "bookings.yourbusiness.com". No NoveuFlow in the URL, no reason for customers to know you are using an external tool.
White-label branding is available as an add-on for all NoveuFlow modules.
Franchise mode: manage multiple locations
The most-requested feature of the past year. NoveuFlow now supports franchise chains and multi-location businesses through a central management console.
Centralised overview. As a franchisor or head office, you see all locations in a single dashboard. Total revenue, booking trends per location, no-show rates, staff performance. You can drill into a specific location or view the aggregate figures.
Standardised services. Set your service catalogue centrally and distribute it to all locations. Locations can add local variations, but core services and pricing are managed from the centre.
Local autonomy. Each location manages its own calendar, staff, and customer communication. The franchisor has full visibility but does not interfere in day-to-day operations.
Central reporting. Monthly overview reports per location, exportable to Excel and PDF. Ideal for quarterly reviews, performance assessments, and benchmarking between locations.
Franchise mode is available as a separate licence tier, specifically designed for networks of 2 to 50 locations.
What else is in the release
In addition to these major features, this release also includes more than 40 smaller improvements and bug fixes:
- Improved loading speed for the booking widget (35% faster on mobile)
- New export options: export appointments to Google Calendar and Apple Calendar
- SMS reminders now available through CM.com in addition to MessageBird
- Dashboard customisation: choose your own widgets and charts
- Improved search in the customer CRM
A word of thanks
This release was built in part thanks to input from our beta users. More than 60 businesses participated in the beta over the past months and provided invaluable feedback. NoveuBike was literally shaped by 12 conversations with bicycle mechanics. The franchise mode was built around the specific requirements of three franchise networks already using NoveuFlow.
This is how we want to build: close to our users, with respect for their trade.
